Resume

The intervention aims to support the rehabilitation and social integration of war-affected amputees in Ukraine through the formation of amputee football teams. Partnering with the Shakhtar Social and leveraging expertise from Sierra Leone's FSA, the project will create safe spaces for amputees to engage in physical and psychological rehabilitation. Key activities include the establishment of a new amputee football team in Zhytomyr, a strategy workshop focusing on leadership and community building, and fostering cross-cultural exchanges to enhance the effectiveness of the intervention. This initiative not only provides immediate support but also builds local capacity and promotes long-term resilience and societal acceptance for people with disabilities.
