This intervention aims to engage 14 groups of 2nd and 3rd year Danish high school students who study Spanish, about 304 students, regarding gender equality issues in Colombia and Denmark. The students will gain a deeper understanding of gender inequality, focusing on machismo, microaggressions, and gender stereotypes in Colombia, and then compare these issues to their own context. The goal is for students to recognize gender issues in their lives and empower them to promote gender equality through everyday actions. With input from teachers and students, the intervention will develop interactive tools like a card game, podcasts, and webinars to encourage critical thinking and active learning. In the final phase students will choose a format to share their insights on promoting gender equality on a day-to-day basis with other students.
