Resume

The humanitarian intervention carried out in a collaboration between Dreamtown, Justice for Children and the two CBOs CARC and Hope for Kids aims to bring tangible improvements to the lives of 3.940 individuals in the communities of the Mutare Rural District and the Buhera District in the Manicaland Province. Through the provision of cash transfers, a school feeding programme, agricultural support, and the initiation of income generating projects through micro grants, food security and livelihood is enhanced for 3.500 individuals (Outcome 1.1). Access to clean drinking water and essential health services mitigate health risks for 3.100 individuals (Outcome 2.1). Additionally, the provision of legal services and community-based protection safeguards the rights of community members and addresses vulnerabilities exacerbated by the crisis such as PSHEA issues for 1.200 individuals (Outcome 3.1).
