Nepal faces severe climate changes, which threatens the livelihood of future generations, particularly in the countryside where farming is the main occupation. The current intervention wants to engage the local youth groups in climate entrepreneurship for a more secure future. The intervention begins with a three-day seminar where youth from youth groups in Rupandehi in the low land meet and plan climate entrepreneurship related action with youth group representatives from Mugu district in the Himalayan region. The seminar builds on knowledge about business planning and group processes that the youth have acquired during a 1,5 year youth project in the two districts. After the seminar the youth groups will continue to work on their action plans for green entrepreneurship in their own groups at home and share with a friendship group in the opposite district. The plan includes a Green Youth Day in each ward targeting local citizens of all ages but with a focus on youth.
