Resume

Guryasomo and SONSAF will conduct a baseline study to add to the existing literature on Somaliland’s climate change effects , focusing on the eastern regions. The study will assess the relationship between climate change and clan conflicts and any links between the prevalence of SGBV-related crimes and climate change, thus providing evidence-based guidelines for promoting the adaptation steps to the climate change effects with the expected outcomes of reduced clan conflicts, especially over water and grazing and to combat SGBV related crimes through advocacy and access to justice. This intervention aims to address the negative impacts of climate change on the lives and safety of people in Somaliland, particularly in the Sanaag, Sool, and Togdheer regions in Somaliland
