The project develops the partnership's efforts to strengthen youth civic participation and digital/media literacy among young people in rural areas of Moldova. Political polarization, economic disparities, and disinformation limit their engagement in democratic processes and the debate on European integration. The project aims to empower rural youth to critically assess information to actively participate in civic life. This is accomplished through youth-to-youth activities across 15 regions, engaging over 600 persons. Capacity-building introduces innovative educational approaches to foster critical thinking, media literacy, and democratic participation. The sustainability of the initiative is ensured by a network of youth ambassadors carrying out follow-up activities with peers in local areas. To enhance the impact, the project includes a study visit to Denmark to learn from local practices, as well as advocacy for more sustainable educational opportunities in the local areas.
