Resume

The long-term objective of this intervention is that through capacity building of Charity Fund “Gift” and strengthened collaboration with authorities and local networks, the local vulnerable groups like IDPs, soldiers, and war-affected families in the Southern Odessa Oblast area have become more resilient, aware of their fundamental democratic rights and through psycho-social support are better able to overcome traumas caused by the war. In this way the intervention aims to strengthen civil society, fostering democratic development through partnerships and institutional capacity-building. By collaborating with local churches, authorities, and local and national networks, the project will address trauma-related issues and provide psycho-social support impacting 5.594 persons. It will bridge short-term aid with long-term development, in other words, addressing this nexus as one of the objectives of the Neighborhood Fund – for resilience and development in Ukraine.
