The proposed intervention, titled "Emergency Food and WASH assistance to the flood-affected people in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar district, Bangladesh", aims to provide immediate relief to 14,128 vulnerable individuals affected by the 2024 floods. The target groups include women-headed households, children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and pregnant and lactating women, identified based on socio-economic status, mobility challenges, health risks, and protection concerns. This intervention will deliver essential food and hygiene supplies, repair and upgrade WASH facilities in schools, and conduct hygiene awareness campaigns. Food distribution will reach 3,440 individuals, with a focus on providing nutritional supplements to vulnerable groups. WASH assistance will benefit 10,688 people, focusing on schools' sanitation and safe water access. Additionally, 800 hygiene kits will be distributed, and 50 hygiene awareness video shows will be organized, reaching 10,000 individuals.
