Resume

The overall project goal is for Philippine CSOs to uphold the civic space & fortify the network of CSO’s solidarity by participating in local & national policy dialogues & advocacies on inclusive resilience-building & protection of human rights. The interventions include 1) Mental health & psychosocial support & support systems for the victims of human rights violations; 2) Para-legal, security, & reporting instruments for human rights defenders & humanitarian organisations in the Philippines, which also includes preventive mechanisms to deter harassments & attacks against civil-society front-liners; 3) Continuous capacity-building & technical support in terms of lobby, advocacy, & policy dialogue to assert public participation towards more informed policies, guidelines, & plans. Capacity-strengthening of larger target groups, such as promotion of community-led policy dialogues, will help in the prevention of shrinking civic space in the Philippines. The project duration is 12 months.
