The Public Union is a newly established organization aimed at creating safe and inclusive spaces for teenagers and young adults. Its core mission is to foster a culture of care and mental health support by providing psychological, social, and informational assistance, while also protecting the rights and interests of its members. The Union strives to develop effective systems for restoring psychological well-being, enhancing the quality of life for young people, and encouraging active involvement in all areas of public life. A key initiative is the establishment of free, anonymous spaces where young people can seek support during mental health challenges. These spaces provide a welcoming environment that encourages openness and trust. The organization’s volunteer-driven model not only delivers accessible support but also empowers young people to act as peers and mentors within their communities. By fostering civic engagement and democratic participation, the Union equips volunteers with essential tools to contribute meaningfully to Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction. Furthermore, this approach leverages the mobility of Ukrainian resources, ensuring cost-efficient operations while building strong collaborative networks with local authorities. Through these efforts, the Union aims to create a resilient support system that not only addresses immediate mental health needs but also strengthens community ties and encourages active participation in rebuilding Ukraine’s future.
