Egypt Without Disease

Egypt Without Disease (EWD) foundation for healthcare is an Egyptian non-profit operating since 2017 under the Ministry of Social Solidarity. It works to provide healthcare services all over Egypt, targeting those that are in deprived, slum and less privileged areas. Through the power of volunteering, maintaining sustainability, and promoting diversity and inclusion, Egypt Without Disease aim to provide free medical services for those who cannot pay for it. EWD has 29 projects that cover 11 Egyptian governates. Up through 2023, more than 220,000 individuals have benefited from their services. The main services of EWD are: Primary health care clinics Renal dialysis centers Neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) Surgical Operation centers Intensive Care units (ICUs) Mental health centers and addiction rehabilitation centers. Egypt Without Disease also provides the following activities and programs: Health awareness programs and campaigns Screening programs Case management services Bespoke initiatives (designed with partner) Needs Assessments Medical Convoys Training of healthcare professionals
