Asociación COINCIDIR

COINCIDIR is a Guatemalan civil society organization founded in 2010 by activists protecting and promoting the rights of excluded and vulnerable children, adolescents and youth, with special attention to girls. The organization’s strategic focuses on promoting the rights to education, health, protection, economic autonomy and protagonist, organized participation of children and especially girls, and they work with with indigenous peoples, peasants, excluded women, LGTBIQ+, impoverished popular sectors, and historically excluded groups. COINCIDIR implements actions to transform realities that negatively affect girls and children in Guatemala, and the roots of exclusion, inequality and social injustice through a gender, intercultural and human rights-based approach. Institutionally, within 10 years, COINCIDIR aspires to be an organization completely run by women, who were trained in the organization.
