With the current programme Samridha Commune Development Center (SCDC) and Skoleliv i Nepal (SIN) strive to ensure Quality Education and Active Citizenship in all the 34 public schools of Bardaghat Municipality. We do this by mobilising the school community and local authorities for an educational transformation. This will be done by modernising the teaching in the local class rooms, and by making the local bodies for community participation in the school functional; the Child Club, the School Management Committee and the Parent Teacher Association, so that they can engage the entire school community (guardians and students) in a democratic discussion about quality education and the need for educational transformation and improve the participation and performance of students from vulnerable families. The programme strives to consolidate its objective by ensuring effective cooperation and coordination between CSOs and government authorities at local and national level.
