Resume

This project strengthens democratic resilience in Ukraine through a community-based integration model linking schools, teachers, and parents as pillars of inclusion. Key activities include teacher training and peer mentoring, child-friendly spaces and parent–teacher camps for psychosocial support, and friendship family networks to anchor displaced families in local communities. A civil society–driven advocacy approach ensures that IDP families—especially those whose children remain excluded—are represented. By addressing the exclusion of IDP children from education and social life, the project reduces stigma, strengthens cohesion, and advances equality, participation, and minority rights. It aligns with Neighbourhood Fund goals by empowering civil society actors, fostering local resilience, and promoting equality, participation, and minority rights through a replicable community model for sustainable, scalable inclusive democratic development.
