Interclan fighting started in Mudug region between two clans on June 26, 2024 - July 2, 2024, at the border of Galmudug and Puntland regional states of Somalia. This conflict compelled 26.000 people flee from the conflict area to different locations to different villages in Mudug region. The conflict affected people fled their homes to escape violence, leading to large populations of refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs). This conflict resulted that basic needs such as food, water, and medical care become scarce or non-available. Moreover, this violence and instability contributed widespread trauma and mental health issues.Therefore, we want to target IDS fled to Saaxaqurun & Qayra-dhuunte to provide immediate humanitarian assistances they are in need.
