The appraisals main objectives are to determine and agree upon the partnership agreement and the specific design and strategy of the project, including: the specific activities and the timeframe of the project, the specific methods to be used to meet the immediate objectives of the project, the specific communities in which the project will be carried out and the composition of the target group. A SWOT analysis will also be conducted to determine the objectives of the capacity building component in the project. Furthermore, monitoring/reporting, budget, partnership agreement and MOU will be agreed upon.
