Resume

This programme is a collaboration between 100% for the Children, APDK, and KAACR, aiming to strengthen inclusive, community-based child protection in Nairobi’s informal settlements. KAACR focuses on child rights advocacy and community protection, while APDK ensures children with disabilities are included in care reform efforts. The programme prioritizes these areas by preventing family separation, reducing violence, and building resilient child protection systems. It strengthens civil society by equipping AACs and CCPCs to implement Kenya’s Care Reform Strategy. Families gain support through Positive Parenting Groups and community-led child protection. Advocacy efforts push for policy enforcement and increased county-level resources for child protection. Through capacity-building, governance strengthening, and systemic advocacy, the programme ensures sustainable, driven child protection solutions for Nairobi’s most vulnerable children.
