The intervention carries on the work in the recovery of internally displaced persons from the 2017 armed conflict in Marawi City. The strategic approach of this intervention is to develop and strengthen Lombay Ka Marawi (LKM) - the organization of Marawi IDPs - to be their own most vocal advocate. LKM was organized in the immediate aftermath of the armed conflict with support from previous CSF interventions. In five years, its activities have expanded from seeing to the survival needs of members, to participating in People’s Councils that engage local governments in development planning and budgeting. This intervention prepares LKM to sustain its long-term advocacy by building up its organizational and financial management capacities; developing engagements with government and non-government stakeholders on reparations, shelter rehabilitation and livelihood restoration; and building alliances with other Marawi IDPs and advocates. The intervention directly targets 1300 HH of IDPs.
