The project aims to strengthen the resilience, civic engagement, and political literacy of the LGBT+ community in Moldova ahead of the 2025 parliamentary elections. Through an informational campaign, legal support, and internal capacity-building, the project empowers LGBT+ individuals to participate meaningfully in democratic processes and prepares the leading organization, GENDERDOC-M, for strategic advocacy under uncertain political conditions. Activities include a pre-election awareness campaign, legal consultations and monitoring, a post-election public lecture, and a strategic planning seminar. The intended change is a more informed, active, and resilient LGBT+ community, better equipped to safeguard its rights and contribute to democratic development, even amid increasing anti-LGBT+ narratives and regional instability.
