The project aims to empower people inside and outside the Global Ecovillage Network Ukraine with skills and competences within the field of permaculture and food growing to make them resilient in face of crisis through two introductions to permaculture and one permaculture design course. Strengthening the organisational capacity of the partner organisation ‘Permaculture in Ukraine’ and the international connections through scholarships for eight future permaculture teachers from Ukraine and Denmark for a training of trainers in Poland, diploma tutoring for two Ukrainian permaculture designers in Denmark, improving technical skills of a group of permaculture designers in Ukraine and creating model designs for two public spaces. Converting the experience of ‘GEN Ukraine’ and ‘Permaculture in Ukraine’ into a guide consisting of ‘easy to grasp’ sustainable practices that will contribute to the post-war regeneration of Ukraine whose environment is faced with severe suffering.
