The Regina Pacis Foundation, established in 2001 to combat illegal migration and human trafficking, has evolved into a leading charitable organization in Moldova. Its mission is to provide a protective and empowering environment for at-risk children, youth, and the elderly, while improving the quality of life for individuals facing social and economic exclusion. Key initiatives include: • Child Placement Center (since 2005): offers residential, medical, educational, and legal support to children aged 12–18 from high-risk environments, preparing them for independent living. • Social Canteen (since 2011): provides over 180 daily hot meals and food packages to elderly people in need, along with a communication space to reduce loneliness through intergenerational interaction. • Community Refugee Assistance Center (opened in 2022): delivers medical services, humanitarian aid, counseling, accommodation, and vocational support to Ukrainian refugees and Moldovan citizens in crisis. • Social Center in Vărvăreuca: serves daily meals, distributes humanitarian assistance, and organizes recreational and educational activities for children, often with international volunteers. • "In Cammino" Assisted Living: provides young women from institutional care with housing, counseling, and support to pursue education and enter the labor market. The Foundation’s diverse programs reflect its commitment to social justice, inclusion, and resilience-building across generations and communities.
