Den Danske Helsinki-Komité for Menneskerettigheder
Den danske Helsinki-Komité for Menneskerettigheder (DHK) blev dannet i 1985 som en del af den daværende internationale Helsinki Federation (1982-2007). DHK arbejder for overholdelsen af internationale menneskerettighedsaftaler og påpeger trusler mod og krænkelser af menneskerettigheder og internationale traktater. Vi skaber forståelse for, at konflikter og globale problemer kun kan løses holdbart på et demokratisk grundlag i respekt for menneskerettigheder og retsstat og i efterfølgelse af verdenssamfundets globale bæredygtighedsmål og klimaaftaler. Således overvåger, analyserer og vurderer komiteen menneskeretlige problemstillinger især i OSCE-området og søger at fremme menneskerettigheder, demokrati, stærke civilsamfund, politisk pluralisme og retsstat som grundlag for fredelig sameksistens blandt OSCE-landene. DHK har gennem årene gennemført et stort antal projekter i de post-kommunistiske lande som Bosnien, Kosovo, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgien, Armenien, de baltiske lande og Rusland.
