Fair Trade Danmark
Fair Trade Danmark (FTD) er en medlemsorganisation for virksomheder, butikker, foreninger og personer, der arbejder for at fremme Fair Trade i Danmark. FTD arbejder for handelsrelationer, der bidrager til bedre leve- og arbejdsvilkår for marginaliserede producenter og arbejdere, særligt i økonomisk udsatte områder i det globale Syd. Udgangspunktet er World Fair Trade Organizations (WFTO) 10 Fair Trade-principper. FTD’s virksomhedsmedlemmer forpligter sig til at arbejde efter disse principper. Fair Trade Danmark følger gennem sin monitoreringsordning regelmæssigt op på medlemmernes praksis og dokumentation. Monitoreringen omfatter blandt andet handelsrelationer, betaling, arbejdsforhold, miljøhensyn, gennemsigtighed og sporbarhed. Monitorering gennemføres som udgangspunkt mindst hvert andet år. FTD’s logo er et medlemslogo og dokumenterer medlemskab af Fair Trade Danmark. Det er ikke et produktcertifikat. FTD fastlægger og følger op på reglerne for medlemmernes anvendelse af logoet
