Travel report CISU at the UN General Assembly 19-24 September 2022
CISU regularly gets invited to participate in the UN General Assembly (UNGA) by the Ministry of foreign affairs Denmark (DK MFA) as part of an annual civil society delegation to the UN. Participating on behalf of CISU in the delegation was Andrew J. Bende (Civil Connections & member of CISU board) and Andreas M. Andersen (Director of Finance & Administration for CISU). This report highlights the main take-aways from the meetings and sessions attended. CISUs presence, and Danish Civil Society more generally, is a relevant participant at the UN General Assembly (UNGA77). And though it is a BIG and high-level platform, perspectives from the civil society delegation participants in the different discussions they took part in were generally welcomed and acknowledged.
