Soar Your Way seeks to increase access to rights-based teen girl programming in three different locations in Syria, building the capacity of three local CSOs and supporting them to implement tailored rights-based programs for girls in their communities. To do this, we will pilot the “SYW Platform,” a new and innovative implementation method based on Project Soar’s award-winning 25-workshop empowerment curriculum. With mentorship from Civil Connections and Project Soar, each CSO will utilize the SYW Platform, download the curriculum they choose and design a program of activities based on the needs of their communities, empowering 25 teen girls at their location. Throughout, a platform of advocacy will be established, enhancing organisational capacities of local Syrian CSOs and increasing knowledge and enhancing self-agency for teen girls. The SYW Platform will be adapted based on their feedback, and ready to scale in a greater Syrian context.
