Resume

The project aims to strengthen the resilience, sustainability, and well-being of LGBTQ+ communities, particularly in rural areas. A key activity will be the Pathways to Sustainability workshop, which will support our organization and partners to become fit for purpose and guide them toward growth, maturity, and long-term impact. We will also provide tailored support in proposal writing and resource mobilization to strengthen civil society actors. To promote mental health and unity, the project will include structured community dialogues (Ekyotos), which can vitally support the community during the upcoming sensitive election period. Additionally, local leaders and allies will also be engaged in Ekyotos to advance advocacy and network-building. To improve economic well-being and food security, the project will introduce small-space agriculture and poultry-keeping, supported by demonstration sites. The intended change is a stronger, more connected, and self-sustaining LGBTQ+ movement.
