Resume

Building on three years of work supporting LGBTQI+ youth leadership, healing justice, and community resilience in the Western Cape, Triangle Project and Female Freedom will strengthen the capacity of young activists to lead collective care initiatives, advocate for inclusive policies, and respond to growing misinformation, stigma, and exclusion affecting their communities. The project will directly engage 40 youth activists, including a core cohort of 20 youth leaders participating across all three strategies, progressively building skills as facilitators, advocates, and community knowledge producers. Through mentorship, peer learning, and ongoing accompaniment, participants will apply these skills within their collectives and local communities. The project combines youth-led healing circles, leadership and advocacy development, and community storytelling initiatives to strengthen emotional wellbeing, civic participation, and social inclusion.
