Altiplano Adaptation is a Climate Change Adaptation project with a knowledge, community and advocacy focus on tackling the increasingly severe problems arising from climate change in rural and peri-urban areas of the Altiplano highlands in Bolivia. Key elements: 1. Empowering the youth population of the Altiplano communities to develop initiatives on Climate Change Adaptation. 2. Youth leaders and role models will be trained to present and advocate for these initiatives and the results hereof in communities, at schools, university and before local and municipal authorities to disseminate knowledge and understanding of climate change and with examples on how to adapt to it at local level. 3. With the local implementing organisations, the public university and a national network platform, information and results of the project is systematized and disseminated to promote and advocate for regional and national level action on Climate Change Adaptation.
