Resume

The 'Welcome home' intervention provides cash and psychosocial support to 625 most-in-need Afghan families returning from Iran. By providing emergency cash assistance tailored to family size, the project will help 625 familes to meet their essential needs, such as food and shelter, while preserving their dignity and reducing economic pressure. The cash distributions take place in the save space of MMCCs colorful center in Herat where a Welcome Event in each of the total 5 distribution days (5 x 125 selected families), will assist to make the day a memorable day of happiness. Simultaneously, MMCC’s flagship psychosocial outreach activities, which include interactive games and shows at arrival points, parks, and camps, will support the emotional well-being of over 3,000+ children and their families.
