Due to the lack of deyr rain in 2018 and the inflation where the food prices increased rapidly and high, there is a huge need to consider the humanitarian situation of vulnerable people in Xargaga village according to a recent assessment conducted by NADFOR, FSNAU and relevant government bodies from December 2018 to January 2019. In the record, the drought situation in the Horn of Africa has resulted in devastating effects on the populations, both in urban and rural areas. Unfortunately, due to the lack of a strong central government and an emergency plan, the population has a minimal chance of survival from drought conditions. The eastern part of Somaliland, Sool and Sanaag is extremely vulnerable in terms of continues clan conflict and almost no harvesting of any kind can take place. A majority of the NGO are not present in these areas. People in these regions is depends very much on the livelihood in the urban. Therefore, we will focus on the affected families in the camps where the food crisis is worst. A short intervention of food will save the families lives in Xargaga village. No help is too little when it comes to saving lives. The drought that North Somalia, Somaliland is facing is very dangerous and it will cause a food crisis affecting the vulnerable people in Xargaga village very badly. Therefore an immediately action is needed.
