This intervention addresses urgent needs in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions by restoring access to essential health and WASH services for earthquake-affected communities. Through mobile clinics, hygiene kit distribution, and community engagement—led by MMOC and CSI—it reduces preventable illness, improves hygiene, and strengthens early disease detection. Short-term impacts include: 1. Increased access to emergency medical care, non-communicable diseases (NCD), sexual and reproductive health (SRH), nutrition screening and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services 2. Reduced waterborne diseases through hygiene promotion and kit use 3. Improved health awareness and community-led education 4. Local surveillance initiated through trained health volunteers 5. Enhanced dignity, safety, and participation for vulnerable groups This integrated and locally driven response delivers timely, life-saving support while laying the foundation for early recovery.
