Resume

The Changing Attitudes Towards Climate Health and Sports (CATCHS) project seeks to empower especially the youth of rural communities to understand how their behaviours and attitudes towards the environment they live in affect the climate and hence their livelihoods. There is a need to impact communities with knowledge of climate change issues, enlighten them to appreciate the challenges of climate change, and call on them to act. We see the interconnection between climate change and the health of communities. A healthy environment in our view also means healthy and resilient communities. YOPP works with Local Youth Associations (LYAs) which serves as a platform for active citizenship.
