Resume

Circus of Hope-4 Bangladesh is implemented by Koinonia in partnership with MMCC Global to strengthen locally led psychosocial support for children and youth in Rohingya refugee camps and surrounding host communities in Cox's Bazar. It further contributes to stronger local civil society, increased youth leadership and sustainable community-owned social circus activities beyond the project period. Through social circus activities, children improve their psychosocial wellbeing, confidence and life skills in safe and inclusive spaces. At the same time, youth Team Leaders and local civil society partners strengthen their leadership, organisational and facilitation capacities to independently lead, sustain and continuously develop the programme. Through peer mentoring and Collective Intelligence (CI) sessions, the project promotes locally led adaptation of the social circus implementation strategy to changing community needs, including climate-related disruptions and emergencies.
