Resume

The InsectScale project leverages the success of the initial three phases of projects to expand and scale up edible insect rearing for feed production in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement, the host community of Kyegegwa District, and Mityana District. This project aims to strengthen resilience and promote sustainable livelihoods for refugees and host communities by increasing their incomes through the scale-up of BSFL production, facilitated by improved access to sustainable bio-waste sources. By fostering innovative and scalable practices, the project empowers communities to achieve long-term sustainability and contributing to local economic development.
