Resume

Transnational corporations (TNCs) are growing at a fast rate globally. What accompanies their expansion are the deepening inequalities, oppression faced by workers and environmental degradation to name a few. The issues workers and the society at large are subjected to due to the activities of TNCs are a global problem, with similar struggles happening internationally. There is, however, a weak mobilisation around this within the different movements like the climate youth movement or trade unions in Denmark. There is also not much communication and exchange between the workers and activist organisations between Denmark and the Global South. The project addresses this issue through creating a platform where this exchange between organisations from Denmark and the Global South, facing similar issues, can take place. This way activists and union members can be made aware of the commonalities of the struggles across the globe and bring it permanently into their organisational agendas.
