Resume

Led by Beyond Solidarity – Hope and Care Center (BSHCC) and supported by Partners Denmark, the project will strengthen the economic resilience, agency and social inclusion of 30 teenage and young mothers in Rusororo Sector, Rwanda. BSHCC and Partners will support the mothers to establish and manage two women-led VSLAs. Through practical training, regular savings and mentoring, the mothers will strengthen their financial and entrepreneurship skills, access internal loans and increasingly manage their groups themselves. The VSLAs will also provide a space for peer support, collective decision-making and engagement with relevant local actors on shared concerns and opportunities. Limited childcare will enable mothers with young children to participate consistently. BSHCC will lead implementation in Rwanda, while Partners will provide grant oversight, monitoring and technical support.
