Resume

The primary purpose of the project is to develop and test a replicable PermaCamp model through three pilot summer camps, run by the NGO ‘Permaculture in Ukraine’. Building on the success of the current RegenUkraine project, trained local experts will adapt their recovery programmes to reach youth affected by wartime stress. The project will provide 39 vulnerable children and teenagers with hands-on permaculture education and wellbeing support. The camps combine healthy summer activities with practical skills that can empower the next generation to better contribute to Ukraine’s future recovery. The project will equip the organisation with a tested, replicable programme, nine skilled trainers and practical guidelines for future delivery with a practical evidence base for future dialogue with municipalities and other public actors about integrating permaculture-based approaches into youth wellbeing and ecological education.
