This project aims to strengthen the relevance and responsiveness of S&RHR education in low-income urban and rural communities in and around Cali and Popayán, Colombia. It will generate community-based evidence through anonymous data collection, student workshops, family events and community activities. The project will contribute to three outcomes: generating reliable local evidence on S&RHR needs and barriers, strengthening MCMK C’s capacity to adapt its educational methodologies, and increasing partner schools’ understanding of local needs and evidence-based recommendations. Students, families, teachers and school administrators will benefit from safer spaces for dialogue, improved access to S&RHR information, and more relevant and inclusive educational interventions.
