The Finance and Communication capacity building (FINCOM) project aims to strengthen and increase the professional competencies of local partner organizations in Sierra Leone through capacity building initiatives on financial management and communication. The project is based on need assessment via dialogues with CISU and local desires for skill enhancement in various topics and tools. The main activities include workshops on financial reporting, grant management, advanced Excel, resource and organizational management, strategic communication planning, and effective communication and advocacy. The intended overall output is to enhance the ability of Brighter Horizons Sierra Leone (BH SL) and Pink Power to manage resources effectively, communicate their mission and awareness raising clearly, and advocate for their causes more effectively. This will lead to more sustainable and impactful civil society organizations capable of driving positive change in their communities.
