The Wired 4 Business Phase 2 (W4Bph2) project aims to economically empower 75 women - 50 of Phase 1 and 25 new vulnerable women from Buwenda village, Jinja, Uganda. The project seeks to create a foundation for economic empowerment by addressing poverty and economic marginalization through mindset change. Through these efforts, women will gain skills to achieve financial independence, uphold their economic rights, and strengthen their ability to provide for their families and contribute to the economic growth of their communities. The project will offer 1. training in entrepreneurship and financial personal management, 2. support and establishing and strengthening saving groups and lastly 3. offering training in better farming and livelihood systems. The project will also collaborate with local community leaders to foster holistic empowerment and promote sustainable development within the community.
