Heavy rains, overflowing rivers and glacial lakes have inundated much of Pakistan, particularly affecting Baluchistan, KPK, Punjab and Sindh provinces, resulting in extreme urban, flash flooding and landslides This intervention is proposed for District Mirpur Khas in Sindh Province. People are badly struggling with basic needs. The community has reported shelter, food, water and hygiene as the most prioritized needs. Basic needs are significantly being neglected. 1750 persons (whereof half among them comprise children, girls, women and the elderly) directly get benefit from the project components Key outputs are •250 households received family-ridged rainproof tents that provide privacy, dignity and physical protection •250 households received NFIs •500 women and girls received personal hygiene kits The total budget of the project is DKK 255882. 24% will be contributed from the applicant organization. The contribution from DERF and the CFL goes 100 % to the crises affected population
