The PPN IV program involves DOF BirdLife, Nature Kenya, NatureUganda, Nature Tanzania, local conservation groups (LCGs), and other local CSOs. The program’s focus is on strengthening local-to-global policy advocacy, forest conservation, and nature-based enterprises, while building the capacity of these organizations to engage in policy processes, influence government decisions, and promote sustainable livelihoods. The program will enhance the negotiation power of communities to improve their livelihoods through income-generating activities and nature-based enterprises. The program partners will engage in national, regional and global policy advocacy to include Participatory Forest Management (PFM) as an approach to ensure sustainable use and conservation of forests.
