The proposed intervention responds directly to the critical needs identified in Herat Province after the earthquake. Utilizing a cash distribution approach, tailored in line with the local partner's assessments, it addresses the vulnerabilities of distinct groups: children, lactating women, and the elderly. Protection measures are embedded, with a focus on women and children's well-being. Furthermore, the intervention demonstrates adaptability and flexibility through ongoing monitoring and assessment, ensuring the aid meets evolving needs. By aligning with the Core Humanitarian Standard, it ensures the appropriateness and relevance of the response to the specific context and needs of the affected population.
