Resume

The YIYPA programme activates youth-led advocacy, governance accountability, and civic engagement in Kampala and Ntungamo, Uganda. YIYPA works through a strategy of capacity building by continuing the SLOGBAA model with expanded Training of Trainers, Accountability and CivicPreneurship fellowships, building of platforms by strengthening dedicated Green Democratic Spaces and creation of a GreenTalk digital app and a programme of inter-district exchange opportunities for youth leaders and youth-led CSO members. Civil Connections and Network for Active citizens come together with their priorities of youth mobilisation, homegrown solutions, and youth governance advocacy to empower Ugandan youth for collective advocacy and to spark meaningful engagement in democratic processes locally and across districts through youth partnerships. CCCF, NAC and Ugandan youth movements work to grow youth engagement, expand their networks and foster sustainable youth-led leader and community development.
