Resume

The project will strengthen the livelihoods, food security and climate resilience of 230 smallholder farmers organised in four Farmers’ Clubs in Hwedza District, Zimbabwe. It will improve farmers’ capacity to adopt diversified and climate-resilient agricultural practices, through practical learning and integrated farming systems, while strengthening the Farmers’ Clubs’ governance, organisational and enterprise-management capacities and supporting their formalisation as cooperatives. The project will also strengthen farmers’ collective voice by enabling the Clubs to generate and document evidence, identify common priorities and engage local and district decision-makers to influence agricultural and climate-resilience planning.
