Resume

The intervention aims to establish a strong foundation for long-term, community-driven development in Yumbe District, Uganda, by conducting a comprehensive baseline study and developing evidence-based strategies to strengthen locally-led initiatives, in partnership with civil society organizations (CSOs) in the district. This intervention will produce two key outcomes: a baseline study assessing the current capacity and needs of 10 grassroots organizations, and a strategy charter grounded in evidence, shaped by input from the organizations throughout the process. Both outcomes will serve as valuable resources for current and future initiatives, guiding the design of locally owned and sustainable programs. By mapping and operationalizing the unique challenges and opportunities faced by these organizations, the project aims to create a lasting impact, fostering the growth and empowerment of communities in Yumbe District.
