Resume

The proposed intervention will strengthen the socio-economic resilience of youth in rural Zimbabwe by empowering 30 Youth Action Clubs (YACs) in Bindura District through advocacy and entrepreneurship. The project will actively engage the YACs in local decision-making, providing 300 youths with leadership and advocacy skills, facilitating youth-related policy review and production of position papers, while fostering collaboration with duty bearers to promote youth inclusion in governance. This will enable youths to amplify their voices and influence economic policies that directly impact their success. Simultaneously, the project will expand economic opportunities for the targeted YACs by connecting them to financial resources, business mentorship, and market access, ensuring they can develop sustainable business models, support their livelihoods, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
