Resume

The aim of the intervention is to strengthen our organisations individual and collective societal impact by focusing on three distinct tracks 1) strategic cooperation 2) enhance local ownership and effectiveness in administration and management of civil society grants 3) interpersonal relations and trust building. 2024 has been a year with substantial organisational changes in EWB-DK and, for our partners, this has naturally caused some sense of insecurity as well as impact on organisational history and knowledge. During a recent visit to Freetown our partners expressed concerns over challenges such as complicated administrative processes and insufficient capacity of local partner organisations in grant management. Therefore, by convening partners from Sierra Leone and Togo, in Freetown for a 5 day seminar, we aim to enhance civil society cooperation as well as capacity building among EWB-DKs network of partners to ensure sustainable impact of projects benefiting the local communities.
