Under the proposed action, the mental health state and psychosocial wellbeing of 1,436 Persons of Concern (PoCs) and their families among the refugee population and host communities in the most underserved areas in Mount Lebanon and North Lebanon will be improved. Furthermore, access of 2,310 households to hygiene services and food assistance will be secured, particularly refugees and host communities with mental disorders and other mental health problems and their families who are particularly vulnerable to the pandemic. This will be reached by the provision of mental health services and psychosocial support. As well as the through the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Restart Center’s health and mental health-care providers and installation of other relevant equipment for COVID-19 infection prevention and control. Further, the target population will be supported through the distribution of hygiene kits and equipment for COVID-19 infection prevention and control to 1,138 households and distribution of food kits to 1,172 households.
