Resume

The project aims to strengthen the climate resilience of 250 smallholder farmers in Salima District, Malawi, by combining sustainable agriculture with community-led advocacy on domestic climate finance. Through the Farmers’ Clubs approach, farmers will strengthen their capacity to adopt climate-resilient agricultural practices, sustainably manage natural resources and generate evidence on local adaptation needs and solutions. This evidence will be used by Farmers’ Club representatives, in collaboration with the Civil Society Network on Climate Change (CIS0NECC), to engage in district and national multi-stakeholder dialogues on climate change resource allocations and advocate for more transparent, accountable and responsive management of domestic climate finance that addresses locally identified adaptation priorities.
